Bat Mitzvah Club

Chabad Efrat's Bat Mitzvah Club is BACK by popular demand for a 2024-25 chapter!

This year's group will meet for 6 alternating Mondays beginning on Nov 25th & concludes with a special Mother-Daughter Challah Bake!
The sessions will focus on the unique Mitzvos and qualities of Jewish women & the spiritual journey of becoming a Bat Mitzvah accompanied by a treat & fun activity each week!
4 out of 6 meetups with be with the girls only and the Challah Bake will be with mothers also!

Dates: Mondays - Nov 25 | Dec 9 & 23 | Jan 6 & 20 | Feb 3
Times: 4:30-6pm
Cost: 600₪ (Discounts available on needs basis)

Generally we take girls on a mikva tour as a part of the program, are you comfortable with that? of course we only share age appropriate information. We teach that married women get to use the Mikvah monthly as a special connection to Hashem etc.

We speak to the girls about shabbat candles as a part of the curriculum, and each girl will make their own candle. is it important for you that your daughter waits until marriage to light shabbat candles.or are you ok with her lighting 1 and then adding a second after she is married
